WhatsApp Consultation

Via WhatsApp or phone, we first learn the basics about your unit: property type, number of units, current condition, and whether the landlord is based in Hong Kong or overseas.

Days 1–7 Internal review · Free

Preliminary Feasibility Assessment

Based on the information you provide, we conduct an internal preliminary feasibility assessment. If the unit is clearly unsuitable for certification, we will tell you honestly to avoid unnecessary site inspection costs.

On-Site Assessment

The Authorized Person (AP) team conducts a site inspection, comprehensively assessing the unit's current condition. Cross-border landlords may attend via video conference.

  • Ventilation assessment (mechanical ventilation)

Written Assessment Report

Within 72 hours of the site inspection, the Authorized Person completes the written assessment report, including comprehensive renovation recommendations and cost estimates, followed by a 30-minute walkthrough.

Weeks 2–4 Assessment fee fully credited

Contract & Planning

If you decide to proceed with the full service, both parties sign the contract. The HKD 3,000 assessment fee is fully deducted from the first payment. We then begin planning the renovation works and certification application timeline.

Compliance Renovation

The works team carries out all compliance renovations. During the renovation period we provide weekly progress reports (cross-border landlords receive weekly video conference updates).

Weeks 12–14 AP-led

Certification Application

After renovation is complete, the Authorized Person issues the certification report and submits Form BHU-01 with all supporting documents to the Buildings Department (BD).

Weeks 14–18 5-year certification validity

Certificate Received

Once the Buildings Department (BD) issues the certificate, we deliver it in person and establish the post-certification compliance file. If you have opted for post-certification management services, we transition into long-term compliance maintenance.
